At Banyan Treatment Centers, we recognize the challenges faced by individuals balancing work, school, and the pursuit of a career in healthcare, including medical, mental health, addiction treatment, clinical, and social care professions. 

Our mission has always been to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care to those in need. We recognize the critical role healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, therapists, psychologists, counselors, and social workers, play in guiding individuals through recovery and fostering overall wellness. To support the next generation of these vital professionals, we are proud to offer a $1,000 scholarship specifically tailored for working students.

How to Apply

We want to hear your story and understand how your education and career goals align with the mission of Banyan Treatment Centers. In your application, please answer the following in an essay format:

1. Resilience & Personal Growth
Describe a challenge or setback that has shaped who you are today. What did you learn from the experience, and how has it influenced your future goals?

1What is the Application Process?
Prepare Your Application:
Complete the application form (available on our website) with your personal details, including your name, contact information, school, and program.

Essay Submission:
Provide thoughtful and well-crafted answers to the questions given.

Provide Supporting Documents:
Proof of enrollment in your degree program (e.g., recent transcript or enrollment verification).

Scholarship Details:
  • Award Amount: $1,000
  • Application Deadline: May 14, 2026
  • Semesterly Scholarship Opportunity: This scholarship is awarded each semester. We encourage applicants to apply for each new semester and share the opportunity with other eligible working students.
2How Do I Submit My Application?
  • Complete the application form and submit all documents and your essay via the online form on our website.
  • Ensure that your application is submitted by the deadline to be considered for the scholarship.
3Can I Submit Multiple Applications?
  • Multiple Applications: You may apply each semester, but you must submit a new application and essay for each round.
  • Confidentiality: All personal information and application materials will be kept confidential and used solely for the purpose of the scholarship review.
  • Notification: Winners will be notified by email no later than June 4th, 2026. The scholarship award will be disbursed directly to your academic institution for tuition or related educational expenses.
