Levels of Care
at Banyan Treatment Centers

At Banyan Treatment Centers, we understand that substance abuse disorders can range from mild to severe. While some people are high-functioning addicts living a mostly normal life, others have debilitating addiction problems that interfere with their regular day-to-day schedules. Both people need help but to a different degree.

Different Types of Rehab Programs

Because of the wide range of severity in addiction problems, we offer several levels of substance abuse treatment to meet people in every stage of addiction and recovery. As people progress through recovery, they will also transition through these substance abuse programs to ensure that they are in a type of treatment for addiction that best fits their needs.

Detox

Detox is the first level of addiction care in our treatment continuum. With a medically supervised detox, our clinical team provides assistance and support for the mind, body, and spirit 24/7. Clients can expect to have daily medical supervision, 24-hour nursing care, and are also encouraged to attend daily therapy sessions. All medications are administered through a strict protocol, the goal being successful and safe detoxification from any addictive substances. We want our clients to have the most secure and comfortable detoxification process possible because this level of treatment is the foundation for a successful long-term recovery.

Intensive Inpatient

Banyan’s intensive inpatient treatment utilizes highly trained physicians, assistants, and qualified nursing staff to ensure that patients with severe substance abuse problems have their needs met and are as comfortable as possible throughout their recovery. In this level of treatment, patients receive 24-hour care, daily counseling sessions, and access to community support groups. To ensure that the efficacy of the program is maintained, random urine drug screens are performed.

Residential

After the detox process is complete and medical stabilization is no longer required, patients need to examine the underlying causes of their addiction, as well as explore their substance abuse problems in more depth. Residential drug treatment gives patients the ability to focus on these issues in a safe environment under the 24-hour care of trained staff members. This type of treatment for drug addiction and alcoholism can also be used for patients who do not require a true detox, yet still should be stabilized and under 24-hour supervision. During this program, patients participate in daily therapeutic sessions, individual therapy, and group programming.

Partial Hospitalization

For patients who do not need inpatient programming but are still looking for support and help in their recovery journey, our PHP treatment centers may be the answer. During this substance abuse program, patients will participate in various therapies and programming daily and are encouraged to partake in outside addiction recovery programs in their spare time. At night, patients will reside in a sober living facility where they will have both community support as well as supervision to help them stay on track in their recovery.

Intensive Outpatient

When patients are ready to start living on their own and transitioning back into a daily routine outside of rehab, intensive outpatient centers are there for added support. Patients will still participate in therapy programs regularly, but at times that fit their schedule. This level of addiction care is also good for people who want to continue working or going to school during treatment.

Outpatient

An outpatient program requires patients to participate in a few hours a week of therapy and programming. This setup offers patients the ability to confront real-world problems while also leaning on their community support groups and recovery programs for support.

Stabilization

Relapse can happen to anyone. It can either be a bump in the road to long-term sobriety or a downfall back into addiction. To help patients get back on track in their sobriety, stabilization programs are relapse programs that get the patients back into regular programming as well as a controlled environment until they have their sobriety back under control.
