Kayla Rogers-Callaghan M.S., LMHC
Kayla Rogers was born in New Bedford, MA, but moved to Florida at the age of 12. Primarily, she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science from the University of Central Florida in 2013 and later on received her Masters from Nova Southeastern University in 2015, along with completing 2 years of supervision. Due to her witnessing family and friends suffering from addiction and mental health issues, Kayla felt the need to help those who struggle with the ongoing disease. Her start in the addiction field began as an intern at an addiction treatment facility, where she advanced to a permanent position. Throughout her career and currently at Banyan Boca, Kayla has worked with dual diagnosis patients struggling with both substance use and mental health disorders. Her favorite part of the job is being able to meet a variety of individuals, learn all of their stories, and finding a way to help them find themselves. Kayla’s goal is to continue to grow and learn all she can from all the amazing people around her.

He sought treatment at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, now a Banyan facility, more than four years ago and has been sober ever since. Caleb began his career at Banyan as an Admissions Coordinator and went on to receive several promotions within the organization. He now acts as a National Business Development Representative for the state of Kentucky, where he lives with his wife and son. Director of Nursing
Amy Horan was born in Illinois and moved to Coral Springs, FL when she was 5 years old. She obtained her LPN in 2001 and her RN in 2020. She got her start in the addiction field by working at another treatment center right out of LPN school in 2001. Amy developed a passion for mental health when she lived in Arizona for a year and worked at a community inpatient center. She is passionate about what she does because she enjoys working with substance abuse and mental health clients. Her goal is to always provide them with the dignity and respect that is often overlooked with their diagnosis. She has always enjoyed watching their transformation. She says, “they arrive to use at one of the hardest times in their lives and transform into the healthy members of our community.”
Amy’s favorite part of her position is mentoring the new nurses and teaching them about mental illness and substance abuse and watching them blossom in their career at Banyan.
Her goal at Banyan is for every one of our clients to be treated how we would treat our own family. She instills this in each one of our nurses. Amy

I had a great experience at Banyan in Naperville the staff are awesome there and housing is good we can cook and eat whatever we want which is nice it helped me be accountable and clean up after myself they encourage us to go to meetings and provide a list of meetings and sponsors but don’t force anyone to go which is nice it’s a choice but if you want recovery you will get it no matter where you go you just have to be 100% done with the drugs or drinksMiles J.
