Teen Mom’s Chelsea DeBoer has it all; a beautiful home, a strong marriage, and three beautiful children.

But having it all does not equate to having good mental health. On the most recent episode of Teen Mom 2, Chelsea revealed her struggles with her anxiety after giving birth to her third child.

Chelsea said that around six months postpartum, she started to experience anxiety attacks and felt that it was a mix of postpartum and the recent robbery that occurred in her home. Chelsea ended up going to the hospital because she was having trouble breathing, thinking that it was something more serious. Though this happened after the birth of her daughter, Chelsea feels that there may have been signs that she missed after the birth of her first two children that should’ve been attended to. She goes on to say, “ I think it’s helpful to share because sometimes when you’re in it, you can feel like maybe you’re the only one or the people don’t understand so I wanted other people to watch it and relate”.

Chelsea is feeling so much better now with the support of her husband and hopes that people who are going through similar situations can have someone that’s just as supportive.
