Back in January, Shaun Weiss was arrested for meth use and burglary.
The 42-year-old Mighty Ducks actor looked unrecognizable in his mugshot from his arrest. Thankfully, Shaun has over 200 days of sobriety and his transformation will shock you!
Shaun’s friend, Drew Gallagher, shared a photo of Weiss on Facebook looking healthy and with a brand-new set of teeth. Gallagher writes, “Weiss is thriving. His face and mouth feel like ‘tenderized meat’ as he recovers from each oral surgery, but he is feeling blessed to be getting a new of permanent teeth. His progress has been smooth and steady, and he is well over 225 days sober. More pics and video soon.” Like many people who abuse methamphetamine, Shaun Weiss was showing dastardly signs of meth mouth, but with the help of some intense dental work, his transformation in recovery includes a new smile.
Shaun Weiss’s drug addiction started following the loss of his parents. Shaun was living on Gallagher’s couch at one point until he eventually was sleeping in the streets. Symptoms of meth abuse can include rotting teeth, weight loss, and sores from scratching. Based on his rapid decline in physical appearance, its apparent that Shaun exhibited some of these symptoms. Now several months sober, his meth face is clearing up and he looks greater than ever.
