The Irish singer Sinéad O’Connor entered rehab, according to her Twitter post.

The 53-year-old wrote that she would be postponing her tour until 2022 to begin mental illness and drug abuse treatment. She stated, “I had a very traumatic six years, and this year was the end of it but now recovery starts. I would ask you please to be supportive and understanding and to hold onto your tickets for 2022 because I will be back with a new album and tour.”
