Richard from Ohio shares his story about relapsing and coming back to treatment and how Banyan gave him the tools to live a sober and healthy life in recovery. He rebuilt relationships with his children after many years of not speaking. Since he’s been sober he says “I’m not lying on the couch all day high anymore. I’m more energetic and my day isn’t spent on chasing something. I used to think “How I am going to get through the day”’ and now the question is “What I am going to do today?” It’s a new, beautiful life.

She talks about why she chose to come to Florida for treatment from New York. “Banyan is a place where people actually care about you. They are a very big part of my life and I’m grateful for that. They are my second family; like my brothers and sisters. It feels good because I don’t have family down here.”
