Our partial hospitalization program for veterans is a level of care offered in our Veterans in Recovery program. This is one of the many rehab programs offered at our Philly drug rehab that is designed for a specific group of people with unique needs. At Banyan Treatment Centers, we understand the challenges that veterans face, including trauma and combat exposure. To cope with these stressors, many men and women turn to drug and alcohol abuse, but many end up with both mental health and substance use disorders. Our facility offers PHP addiction treatment for veterans to aid in their long-term recovery.
What Is a Partial Hospitalization Program for Addiction?
Our veterans PHP is an intensive outpatient level of care that allows clients to receive drug or alcohol treatment during the day and return to approved recovery residences or home at night to connect with their loved ones. Our drug PHP level of care allows our clients to actively work on their recovery and their personal goals outside of rehab simultaneously.
Not only are the physical and psychological aspects of addiction recovery challenging, but clients also have to learn how to create a day-to-day style of living that’s conducive to their recovery. For this reason, our veterans’ partial hospitalization rehab program is a beneficial method of treatment for those who have already undergone medical detox or previous programming and require step-by-step assistance in building a sober life for themselves.
Our Partial Hospitalization Drug Rehab for Veterans
Veterans in our Philadelphia partial hospitalization program can expect to attend individual, group, and family therapy sessions during the day and return to approved recovery residences or commute home at night. This program is overseen by our specialists and therapists to ensure client privacy, safety, comfort, and progress.
Upon admission to our Philadelphia addiction rehab, we perform a full clinical assessment on patients to determine which level of addiction care is best suited to their needs. PHP is most beneficial for individuals who have already undergone medical detox and/or some form of treatment. Although PHP is not for everyone, it is helpful for individuals who need daily support as they learn how to adjust to a life without drugs or alcohol.
While our individual counseling sessions allow patients to work privately with a therapist to determine the source of their disorder and how best to combat it, our group therapy sessions offer them a community they can depend on for support. Speaking of support, we know how crucial family support is when recovering from addiction, which is why family therapy is a must.
Incorporated into our PHP is a chance for clients to make amends with those they’ve hurt in active addiction and reconnect with their spouses, parents, and siblings. Not only is family therapy important for helping clients rebuild their relationships, but it also educates family members and spouses about addiction and how they can play an active role in their loved one’s recovery.
In addition to our partial hospitalization program, Banyan Treatment Center also offers IOP and eating disorder treatment for veterans. Whether your loved one has been struggling with substance abuse or mental health, our team is here to help.
