Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) at Banyan Chicago
In an intensive outpatient program (IOP), patients often receive similar benefits to residential inpatient treatment but with more flexibility and in a relaxed environment. Our Chicago intensive outpatient drug treatment can be the right choice for people with an active lifestyle who want to receive treatment without sacrificing a majority of their daily routine. This flexibility in treatment may be perfect for people who want to continue to work or who are attending school. This program may also be a continuation of the recovery journey as someone progresses through treatment.
Our Chicago Intensive Outpatient Program
Patients looking to enter our intensive outpatient program will undergo a full clinical assessment to evaluate both their physical and mental needs. This assessment is used to determine if IOP is, in fact, the best level of care for them at the time, as well as to create an effective treatment plan for their recovery.
Our intensive outpatient program is one step down from our partial hospitalization program in Chicago. The program is provided in a comfortable and professional setting with a small patient-to-staff ratio to ensure that every patient’s needs may be met. During intensive outpatient substance abuse treatment programs, patients can enjoy a wide variety of treatment options that deliver the support and therapeutic help they need for a successful recovery.
Programming in our Chicago Intensive Outpatient Program includes:
- Group therapy
- Individual therapy
- Relapse prevention
- Addiction awareness
- Coping techniques
- Self-esteem boosters
- Stress management practices
- Education on relationships
- Addiction treatment therapies
We strive for our clients to finish treatment and feel confident that their recovery will remain strong within the community. With psychiatric and clinical care available for all individuals, the goal of our IOP in Chicago is to continue recovery tactics while allowing the client to reenter the community, reconnect, and prevent relapsing.
Continued Recovery After IOP
At Banyan Treatment Centers Chicago, we believe the path to complete recovery is ongoing and want to help our patients find this lasting sobriety through our intensive outpatient services. Along with our intensive outpatient program in Chicago, we also offer a standard outpatient program that requires less commitment but also helps those patients who want more help with the transition back into their everyday lives.
While an IOP can help you get sober, it’s only the beginning. Patients who also successfully complete our Chicago IOP program are welcomed into our rehab alumni program. This program connects peers in the recovery community and offers resources for continued success in the recovery journey.
