Actually, cocaine use is dangerous, and there are several negative short- and long-term effects of cocaine on the body.  While many knew that this obscure claim was a joke, jokes do not always translate well on the internet.

In response to the widespread misinformation about the coronavirus, the World Health Organization has posted some myths surrounding the disease on its website and states, “To date, there is no specific medicine recommended to prevent or treat the new coronavirus.”⁴ The organization has also debunked other estranged coronavirus cures like the use of hand dryers and garlic.

Although some people may still be curious about cocaine as a cure for the coronavirus, this is not the answer. Cocaine will not kill the coronavirus, but it could cause serious and lasting damage to your body. Cocaine is also a highly addictive substance.
