Stabilization Programs at Banyan Pompano
Sobriety is a life-long commitment and at our substance abuse treatment center in Pompano, we understand that there will probably be setbacks on your journey to long-lasting sobriety. Relapses can occur for numerous different reasons. Although there may be times where you falter, a stabilization treatment program is here to help. The main goal of a stabilization program for addiction is to get an individual back on track after a relapse occurs.
Importance of Stabilization
Everybody makes mistakes, but that doesn’t mean that you can no longer be successful in your sobriety efforts. Relapse can be discouraging to an individual who is actively trying to live in recovery. They may lose confidence and hope for the future leading to a greater possibility that they will relapse again. In the worst cases, this vicious cycle could cause someone to become dependent on the drug once more. A stabilization program for addiction is used to correct these mistakes made on the road to recovery and to help the patient more forward confidently to a brighter future free from drugs or alcohol.
Stabilization Program in Pompano
When a relapse occurs, a full medical detox will not be typically be necessary, but because we offer various levels of care, our addiction rehab in Pompano is an ideal center for whatever your relapse situation. We provide a safe and supportive environment where the individual can look deeper into the conditions that may have led to their relapse.
At Banyan Pompano, our clients attend a shorter program (typically 14 days) in a PHP type of program with a specific treatment plan focusing mostly on relapse prevention. During their time in this program, patients are encouraged to explore the root issues connected to their relapse in order to avoid relapsing again in the future. Treatment will guide clients in a positive way to handle relapse situations and give them added tools to dealing with temptation and drug triggers once they return to their normal lives.
After a client successfully finishes the stabilization treatment program, they may then be placed in an IOP to continue the rest of their recommended treatment program to completion or be placed in another recommended level of care depending on what is best for them and their long-term success.
As a faith-based treatment center, we also offer the unique opportunity for our patients to partake in Christian programming during this time if they so choose. With this option, patients will not only focus on relapse prevention but also be able to reconnect with God if they have strayed away from their relationship with Him as well.
Recovery After Relapse
We understand that relapse is often a part of the long-term recovery process. It’s important not to become discouraged if you or a loved one relapses. Setbacks are a part of life, and it’s not too late to correct your course. If you or someone you know has lost control of their recovery, please contact our addiction rehab today to get back on track.
