Residential (Level 1) Care at Banyan Treatment Center

Our Residential Treatment Program often serves as the initial step-down after detox at Banyan. A client deemed suitable for this treatment is usually one whom has experienced exacerbated or prolonged drug detoxification that is non-life threatening or by the disturbance of mood or thought that might require stabilization. Banyan’s Residential Treatment program utilizes highly trained physicians, assistants and qualified nursing staff to ensure that clients’ needs are met and comfort is maintained. Clients receive 24-hour care, daily counselling and access to community support groups. To ensure that the efficacy and health of the program is maintained, random urine drug screens are performed.

This level of care is also used for patients that do not require a true medical detox, but still needs to be stabilized with 24-hour care. Someone that would qualify for our residential treatment program could be a cocaine or methamphetamine user. Each and every concern or need of the client is seen to and addressed here at Banyan. This is made possible by our high staff-to -client ratio. We truly believe that it takes the clinical staff, the support groups, individual treatment and planning to be successful in recovery.
