What Faith in Recovery Offers 

When somebody is dealing with an addiction, the consequences can be felt in all parts of their life, including their religion. This can cause them to doubt their faith and lose their way. For those individuals in search of comfort and motivation through their spirituality, the Faith in Recovery program at our Southern California rehab is here to help.  

This is a non-denominational, Christ-focused, and faith-based program intended to help those fighting against addiction and mental health issues strengthen and learn how to lean on their spirituality for support and motivation in challenging times throughout recovery.  

Individual and group counseling sessions in this program mainly focus on helping clients restore their faith in God, while also tackling any emotional or behavioral patterns that have contributed to their drug or alcohol abuse. Faith in Recovery combines clinical treatments and faith-based concepts to offer a personalized guide for each client. 

Our Faith in Recovery Program at our Palm Springs rehab will consist of:

However, we do not offer standard Christian-centered addiction treatment. Instead, we offer spiritually-focused holistic services to support clients through their recovery. We aim to help patients reconnect with God and reinstate their religious beliefs while they are overcoming their drug or alcohol use disorders.   

Although our program focuses on Christian principles, people of all faith backgrounds are welcome. We echo Jesus' own words when he said that everybody is welcome - at Banyan Palm Springs, we are true to this and accept all.  

Whether you have become distant from your faith due to your addiction, or if you have never been religious but now seek divine help, we are here to help you in your journey. When you are prepared to open up to the Lord and bolster your faith, we are here to assist you. 

Individual Christian Addiction Counseling  

Included in this program is personalized faith-based counseling for existing patients. Equipped with a Master's in Ministry and an Advanced Diploma in Biblical Studies, Anthony Acampora, our National Director of Faith Services and Chaplain, leads all counseling sessions. Though these meetings are not obligatory, individuals have the choice to schedule time for one-on-one counseling with our Chaplain and explore another avenue of developing a deeper connection with God.  

Our Christian-focused therapy is more than group meetings, it helps those who are looking to heal from addiction and repair or create a bond with God. Those struggling with substance abuse can go further in their recovery journey by healing on a spiritual level with the support of our counseling services. These sessions are an opportunity to strengthen clients’ relationships with God and learn relapse prevention strategies from a faith-based point of view. 

Telehealth Services 

Our organization also offers this program online for patients at all levels of care at all of our Banyan rehab locations. This includes inpatient and outpatient programs, special holiday services, plus our alumni program. Our faith-based telehealth activities provide pragmatic recuperation understanding and relapse avoidance approaches from a non-denominational point of view. 

People who select to take part in our telehealth services will learn recuperation approaches, deepen their association with God, comprehend how difficult times can support them to grow, and increase a more profound comprehension of God's intention for their lives.
