Why Is Traditional Treatment a Good Choice?
Why choose traditional rehabilitation programs? Sometimes, you don’t have to mess with the classics. Traditional rehabilitation is based on a therapeutic route with partial hospitalization. It’s what you think of when you think about somebody checking into a treatment center. This allows you to create distance between yourself and the temptations that may exist in your daily life. After all, how did you come to drugs or alcohol in the first place? Wasn’t it through a friend, or another way of easily accessing drugs or alcohol? Partial hospitalization can help you stay away from temptation, making sure that your program of addiction treatment is working for you. Click here to learn more about drug treatment.
How Does Partial Hospitalization Work?
How does traditional rehabilitation work at Banyan Treatment? We believe in working with you to find out where your strengths lie, and where your needs are. And when you check into traditional treatment program, you work with an admissions counselor, the Clinical Director, and a psychiatrist in order to assess yourself and where your needs and strengths lie. From there, you get connected with a primary therapist and develop a specific treatment plan. Each program of traditional treatment includes 25 hours a week of group therapy sessions over a 5 to 7 day period, offering you the structure that can be so helpful when you’re making the journey towards recovery. These therapy sessions can include enhanced 12-step recovery groups, family counseling, and intensive individual therapy with your primary therapist. This can also include creative forms of therapy such as art therapy, music therapy, or yoga. Other options include therapy that can help address other problems in your life, from anger management counseling to trauma therapy or co-occurring disorder education.
