Stabilization Programs at Banyan Treatment Center
The main goal of a stabilization program is to get an individual back on track after a relapse occurs. A general scenario would be if a client is attending a low-level care at another treatment center and relapse has caused them to require stabilization at a higher level of care facility.
When relapse occurs, typically the time spent using will not constitute for a full medical detox. The Banyan Treatment Center’s Stabilization Program is the perfect fit for these unique situations. At Banyan Treatment Center, we offer all levels of care, making us an ideal center for addressing these types of occurrences. We provide a safe and supportive environment where the individual can look deeper into the conditions that may have led to their relapse in the first place. We pride ourselves in truly helping addicted individuals get back on track by guiding them through the difficult times. Our stabilization addiction treatment program has allowed numerous people to continue their recovery efforts through our levels of care.
Patients attend a shorter program (typically 14 days) in a PHP type of program with a specific treatment plan focusing on relapse prevention. After the clinicians determine a successful completion, the individual will then return to their previous level of care or treatment program. The Banyan Treatment Center Family is proud to offer this service to other treatment facilities and providers who may not offer higher levels of care options./p>
Importance of Stabilization
Relapse can be discouraging to an individual who is actively trying to live in recovery. Our stabilization addiction treatment program is offered to address missteps along the road of recovery. We all make mistakes in life, and one mistake should not unravel all of the work you’ve put in. Relapse should be seen as a bump in the road to recovery and there is always hope to get back on track. Through stabilization treatment, patients will learn how to navigate future challenging situations and how to effectively manage drug cravings.
Banyan Treatment Center’s Stabilization Program
Relapse prevention is a main goal of this program and will lead our patients towards success. Treatment will guide patients in a positive way to handle relapse situations and give them added tools to dealing with temptation. The root issues on why relapse occurs are readdressed in order to avoid use in the future. After a patient successfully finishes the stabilization program, they will then return back to their IOP to continue the rest of their recommended treatment program to completion.
