Outpatient Programs at Banyan Treatment Center
Banyan Treatment Center’s Outpatient Program (OP) is provided in a comfortable professional setting with small patient to staff ratio. OP is a step down from IOP, with a minimum of 90 minutes of treatment per week. This service is provided in group or on an individual basis depending on the patient’s customized care plan. We are a holistic provider with psychiatric and medical care. This level of care is provided 5 days per week at flexible times to accommodate work and family schedules. Our Outpatient Program is focused on preventing relapse and emphasis is placed on long term recovery. Once you have successfully completed our outpatient program, you are welcomed into our alumni program, which helps you maintain connections to peers and the recovery community that encourages your ongoing recovery efforts.
Who Benefits from Outpatient Addiction Care
This level of care allows the most freedom for those who are unable to break away from family, school, or work schedules. Even though you may have a hectic work and family life, there will always be time for working on yourself and truly recovering from addiction. For example, those with high stress jobs may be using drugs or alcohol to cope with the stress, but for this same reason are unable to break away for treatment in fear of losing their job. Mothers who cannot afford a baby-sitter multiple nights a week no longer have to face that financial struggle: with just 90 minutes of treatment a week, you are qualified to enroll in our Outpatient Program. The same goes for those enrolled in school who cannot seem to find the time to squeeze in therapy for drug and alcohol use; Banyan Treatment Center offers the flexibility to choose treatment each week from just 90 minutes up to 9 hours. You can balance both treatment and every day life with the support of our committed team. With OP treatment at Banyan, we don’t restrict you through 24-hour care. Our doctors, case managers, nurses and therapists work together to guide you through the process and allow you to decide the best method to effectively treat your substance abuse disorder. We can guarantee that your treatment plan will be completely unique to your needs and recovery goals.
What Should I Expect After the OP Program?
The family at Banyan believes it is important for those who complete our program to stay connected for a lifetime. Once you successfully enter recovery at Banyan, you become family. When patients complete treatment, recovery is a new way of life and being around those on similar journeys is encouraging. Lifelong relationships can be established in treatment, and reuniting with friends is one of the main goals of Banyan’s Alumni Program. Our Alumni Team is dedicated to helping all patients stay connected with us and our community and we strive to help you continue your recovery through our support network.
If you are struggling with addiction and can’t seem to find the time to squeeze in treatment, the Outpatient Program at Banyan Treatment Center may be right for you. Contact us today to learn more about our addiction treatment plans and how we can help you grow through recovery.

"Banyan was able to help me more than words can describe. They helped me save my life. I called in not really knowing what to expect or anything about treatment and the people I spoke with were able to walk me through every step of the way."
