Intensive Outpatient Program

Intensive Outpatient Rehab in Pompano

Banyan Treatment Center Pompano provides an intensive outpatient program (also known as IOP) that is recommended to patients based on a preliminary treatment assessment. At our intensive outpatient rehab in Pompano, FL, we focus on moving the external structure provided in partial hospitalization programs to an internal structure that patients follow on their own. When patients transition from PHP to our intensive outpatient program, we provide all the same therapeutic services, just for a little less time each day. Our intensive outpatient program in South Florida provides truly customized care, and we are committed to fully treating our patients.

What Is IOP?

Intensive outpatient programs are treatment programs used to address substance use disorders, eating disorders, depression, or other dependencies that don’t require medical detox or round-the-clock care. Our IOP drug and alcohol treatment enables patients to continue their normal, day-to-day routines in ways that residential treatment does not.

In the first phase of intensive outpatient treatment, patients attend 5 days of group therapy each week. Phase two of our IOP rehab program occurs when a patient obtains employment, at which time patients can attend a minimum of three days a week.

Groups are held daily, in the morning and the evenings for those who are employed. Our IOP services focus on integrating patients into a larger recovery community. Patients attend groups focused on relapse prevention, developing responsible behaviors and coping skills. Every intensive outpatient program lasts as long as it needs to ensure successful recovery for patients and is sometimes even combined with inpatient programs to help them in their transition from rehab to a sober life.

Our IOP Program in Florida

Our IOP for substance abuse offers patients the continual support they need while adapting to a sober lifestyle after rehab, preventing relapse from occurring. IOP counseling is crucial to the transition back into daily life by continually implementing all the therapies and ideas that treatment has taught them. At our Pompano Beach, Florida drug rehab, our intensive outpatient program’s main goal is to help our patients live a sober and productive lifestyle after rehab.

Patients also work with their therapists weekly, and when they’re not attending groups, they’re free to go to meetings of their choice and to seek employment or volunteer. We are located in sunny Pompano Beach, FL, which is a beautiful area near the beach, malls, and restaurants, giving clients plenty of options for fun, sober activities. Our IOP drug and alcohol treatment center provides patients with a smooth transition from an inpatient treatment setting to an independent sober lifestyle after rehab.
