Catherine Manley, LMHC
Vice President of Operations
Catherine Manley, LMHC is the Vice President of Operations at Banyan Treatment Centers. Catherine earned her Master’s degree at Nova Southeastern University in Mental Health Counseling. Catherine has led staff in multiple roles as Primary Therapist, Detox Supervisor, Clinical Director and Executive Director. In addition to her experience in human services, Catherine received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Florida International University in 2003. She has a background in marketing, advertising and project management. Catherine champions the organizational culture by driving professional development and teamwork across multidisciplinary departments. Catherine brings a great balance of education, compassion, and business acumen to the Banyan family.
Kristen came to down from New York to start her journey of recovery in July of 2019. She admitted into our Stuart location and graduated all the way through to our outpatient program. With perseverance and determination Kristen dove into her recovery. Taking all the suggestion given to her, Kristen got a sponsor, worked the steps, and started sponsoring woman in AA. Kristen remained heavily involved in the Banyan’s alumni program, attending all meetings and events, and stayed connected. This continuous involvement led to David, the Alumni Director calling to offer her a position in the Alumni department at Banyan Pompano in September 2020. Extremely honored and as an alumni herself, Kristen knows what the program has to offer and the importance of staying connected post treatment. “I absolutely love my job and being able to give back what was given to me. It’s important to let the patients know they are not alone. I couldn’t ask for a better team to work with. They aren’t just co-workers to me, they’re my family”.
Ashley Moore, LCSW
Ashley Moore is an Alabama native and has been sober for more than eleven years, following her move to South Florida. She has a Master’s degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, and having found freedom from addiction herself, has made helping others to heal from the pain and despair it can bring her main goal. Ashley is passionate about not only helping those who struggle themselves, but also the families who have experienced broken relationships to embrace the healing process. Ashley began her career at Banyan as a primary therapist and through her dedication to helping others and her exceptional professional abilities has since been promoted to her current role as Clinical Director at Banyan Pompano.
Director of Nursing
Oliver Hora is the director of nursing at Banyan Pompano. In 2001, Oliver finished nursing school in Germany. His major fields he worked in were mental health, substance abuse, and detox units. He worked for two years in adolescence health and mental health. Since 2010, Oliver has been in the United States where he worked in a variety of detox facilities before coming to Banyan in 2015. He offers nursing educational groups where they discuss nutrition, healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, anatomy, and healthcare needs. Oliver just wants to provide a safe environment for his clients. He says that his favorite part of the day is the clients.
Ryan Steinberg, LMHC, MBA
Clinical Director at Banyan Treatment Center, Pompano Beach, FL
Ryan Steinberg, a South Florida native, was inspired to enter the substance abuse treatment field through his personal experience with addiction. Ryan has been sober for more than ten years, and holds his Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling. He is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has served as a Primary Therapist, Clinical Supervisor, and Clinical Director at Banyan Treatment Center in Pompano Beach, FL. Additionally, Ryan has served as the Clinical Director at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, also a Banyan facility. He has worked extensively with adult and adolescent client populations at the Detox, Residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care, where he has treated patients diagnosed with Substance Use Disorders and Co-Occurring Mental Health Disorders. Ryan adopts a patient-centered approach and implements evidence-based practices when treating patients. In 2018, Ryan pursued his Healthcare MBA at Florida International University, where he became certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt. He lends both his clinical training and his business mastery to effectively lead a growing behavioral healthcare agency. He is an advocate for the LGBTQ community and he has received advanced clinical training in sexuality/gender related issues.

Richard Mayora, LCSW, MCAP
Supervisor of Outpatient and Family Services
Richard Mayora is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has taught at The Institute for Addiction Studies and The Academy for Addiction Professionals. He has chaired Broward’s Recovery Month event several times and will act in this capacity for 2017. Richard has been in private practice, served as the Clinical Coordinator at Community Healthcare/CenterOne, and was a clinician at Broward Health Medical Center’s psychiatric unit for many years. In 2014, Florida Atlantic University named him Supervisor of Year and mentoring students is his greatest passion.
Family Services Coordinator
Caleb was born in Louisville, Kentucky and played football at Lindsey Wilson College, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and Communication. Like many others in America today, Caleb suffered an injury on the field that resulted in the use of prescription pain medication, which eventually led him down the dark road of addiction. He sought treatment at Behavioral Health of the Palm Beaches, now a Banyan facility, more than four years ago and has been sober ever since. Caleb began his career at Banyan as an Admissions Coordinator and went on to receive several promotions within the organization. He now acts as a National Business Development Representative for the state of Kentucky, where he lives with his wife and son. Caleb is passionate about his position and being able to continue his career at Banyan in his home state, saying that he feels honored to be able to help those in his community who struggle with the same issues he once faced. He has made is his main goal to help anyone seeking treatment to get the help they need.

Anthony is an Ordained Minister and published Christian Author, He graduated from Vision International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Ministry. He earned an advanced diploma in Biblical Studies from the International School of Ministry. He has successfully completed specialized training with the International Conference of Police Chaplains (ICPC).
Anthony’s Ministry experience includes Faith Program Director, Chaplain Community Liaison, Director of Ministries, Director of Community Outreach, and Biblical Counselor. He is also the Director of the Faith-Net Programs with the National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI).
Most recently, Anthony was awarded the 2019 Professional of the Year by Broward National Recovery. In 2018 Anthony was selected as a Global Goodwill Ambassador representing the USA with the GGA. In 2015, the National Alliance of Mental Illness, Broward Country awarded Anthony it's volunteer Recognition Award. In 2014, the National Association of Social Workers, Broward County awarded Anthony it's Public Citizen of the Year.

National Director of Alumni Services
David picked up the tools found in the 12 step fellowship and immediately dove head first into the recovery available here in South Florida, where he worked diligently with his sponsor and completed the 12 steps while obtaining employment.
David first came to Banyan Treatment Center as a Behavioral Health Technician. After showing his dedication and firm work ethic, David was given the opportunity to take some training courses and becomes Banyan’s first Recovery Coach. After excelling in coaching, David was then promoted again to Director of Alumni Services. As the Director of Alumni Services, David reaches out to clients and keeps in contact while bringing them back for weekly alumni meetings and monthly alumni events.
National Director of Operations
Josh McPherson was born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky. His own personal struggle with alcohol and drugs relocated him to South Florida in 2013. His new purpose after getting sober was geared entirely around helping others. Josh started with Banyan in October 2014 as a Behavioral Health Technician. He has been blessed to grow within the company as the company grew itself. His growth landed him with his current title of National Director of Operations. One of his favorite parts about Banyan is that he is involved in training when facilities open out of state. He loves being a part of the new growth and goals. Josh is honored to be a part of the Banyan Family and eager to see where this journey continues to take him.

I had a great experience at Banyan in Naperville the staff are awesome there and housing is good we can cook and eat whatever we want which is nice it helped me be accountable and clean up after myself they encourage us to go to meetings and provide a list of meetings and sponsors but don’t force anyone to go which is nice it’s a choice but if you want recovery you will get it no matter where you go you just have to be 100% done with the drugs or drinksMiles J.
