Alumni Programs at Banyan Treatment Center
The Banyan Treatment Center Family believes it is important for those who complete any of our addiction treatment programs to stay connected for a lifetime. We are comprised of individuals who constantly support growth through recovery and we are here to guide you through the ongoing journey of sobriety. When patients complete treatment, recovery is a new way of life and being around those on the same journey is encouraging and uplifting. Lifelong relationships can be established in drug and alcohol treatment, and reuniting with friends and mentors is one of the main goals of Banyan’s Alumni Program. Our Alumni Team is dedicated to helping all patients stay connected with us and our community, which includes the larger local recovery community. This is a great way to avoid relapse and associate with others who can motivate you during the fragile time of early recovery. An alumni program for addiction serves as the perfect aftercare network for those who are practicing long-term sobriety and are looking for encouragement from others. The recovery process is an ongoing journey that never ends and Banyan Treatment Center is here to support you every step of the way.
Benefits of Banyan’s Alumni Program
Our Alumni Department is comprised of individuals who are in recovery themselves and have already completed an addiction treatment program here at Banyan successfully. Recovery and staying sober once you are back in the swing of things and need to complete your daily responsibilities can be a challenge. Banyan’s Alumni Program believes in setting an example starting with themselves on how a patient can live successfully after treatment. Times can get tough, and it’s important to have a strong support system in your corner when fighting through the temptation to use again. Surrounding yourself with people who are positive influences can be extremely powerful and helpful during your recovery. You become a part of the Banyan community for life once you finish treatment and we will always be committed to helping you succeed through recovery.
Staying active in the recovery community will allow you to grow positive and healthy relationships while participating in sober activities that supports your recovery goals. At Banyan Treatment Center, we feel that it’s very important to stay busy and actively practice relapse prevention techniques to stay on track. Staying engaged and connected with other recovering addicts will allow you to hold yourself accountable and you will have a stronger motivation to stick to your recovery goals. If you or a loved one is struggling with a drug or alcohol addiction, it’s never too late to get the help you deserve. Contact our drug and alcohol treatment center today to learn more about our treatment services and our alumni program.
