I want to start out by saying that this place will always have a special place in my heart. I did detox and residential and it gives you the start you need to rewire your brain and a great place to getaway from people places and things. First off, I want to thank the group facilitators Mimi and Melissa. These two have the best hearts and want the best for every client. They are the backbone to this rehab. Secondly, to my incredible therapist Maribel who took me under her wing and gave me tools I will never forget and helped me so much with my panic attacks. Thank you to the case managers Shonti and Shay for being there for me during my discharges! ALL the BHT techs who are amazing at what they do and each helped me incredibly, especially Tee, Sharida, Keyshawn, Gracey, Yazzel. Thank you Ray and Nivel for keeping us safe and making the environment as safe as it was for me. You guys are doing an incredible job. Thank you to Dez, Marley for the intake and biobed. The nursing staff and ESPECIALLY Kristen and Kristy (provider) who literally saved me from my panic attacks. And the cleaning crew who are amazing at their job. If I missed anyone, I apologize as there was so many people that helped me. I love you all regardless. This is a wonderful place to start your journey, it's what you make of it. Hang with those that are there to make their lives for better and your time here will go by quickly like it did for me. As a client at Banyan Sebring I have to say the staff was excellent. From the beginning they treated me with respect and care. Case managers Shay and Shanti were extremely helpful and supportive. The BHT staff was always hardworking and attentive of my needs and concerns. Neville, Michael, Jermaine, Latifah, Daja, Taliba, Nike, Keshawn, Grace , Shawn, Yaser and Hanoy truly care about your comfort. Dez, the Intake Coordinator is just the coolest and sweetest person you could meet and made coming into a new place easier than I thought it would be, tip, ask for the bio bed it’s a life saver. The Nurses here don’t just dispense medicine the care about how they are affecting you, Don, Kristen and Sharleene are just a few, but all of them care just as much. Ranisha was my therapist and I felt extremely blessed to have her, she genuinely helped me with seeing things much more clearly and I’m leaving a much better person for it. Last but not least, group coordinators, Mimi and Mellisa were truly amazing and made my day so much better helping me learn so much more about myself. I’m running groups with care and love. They are truly the kindest people you will ever meet. Some people may come in thinking they don’t belong here, but honestly, the staff cares more than you could ever know.
