What Is M365?

What Is M365

When it comes to managing and treating severe pain, many doctors prescribe medications like hydrocodone or Vicodin. Unfortunately, this can lead to problems down the road, one of them being addiction. Another drug that’s often used for pain relief is M365, which – despite its effectiveness – can also quickly go from medication to recreational drug. Below is more on what M365 is and its dangers.

What Is the M365 Drug?

An opioid analgesic that comes from a modified codeine molecule, M365 has a similar structure to morphine and codeine, two other commonly prescribed opioids for pain. M365 is a common opioid medication on the market, so it’s no surprise that it’s become a common source of addiction.

M365 is made of hydrocodone and acetaminophen. It’s often prescribed as a pain relief for those suffering from moderate to severe pain that was caused by an injury or other reason. The generic form of M365 is a familiar one: Vicodin.

This drug comes as a white, capsule-shaped pill. It’s often prescribed to individuals with back pain to get some relief from their symptoms. Due to its potency and strength, the medication is considered a narcotic and is classified as a Schedule II substance.

There are also different variants of this drug according to color and strength:

  • V 36 05 ("orange pill" - 325 mg)
  • Watson 502 ("pink pill" - 650 mg)
  • Watson 540 ("blue pill" - 500 mg)
  • Watson 853 ("yellow pill" - 325 mg)

It’s common for pain medications to contain both an opioid (hydrocodone, in this case) and an over-the-counter pain reliever (acetaminophen) to create a strong yet safer formulation. Even so, because M365 contains an opioid, the risk of dependence and addiction is very much a danger.

M365 Effects

As with any medication, M365 can cause side effects. The medication works by attaching to opioid receptors in the brain, spinal cord, and other parts of the body. This blocks the pain signaling from the body to the brain, relieving the individual’s symptoms.

Common M365 pill effects to be mindful of include:

  • Anxiety
  • Blurred vision
  • Constipation
  • Difficulty urinating
  • Dizziness
  • Drowsiness
  • Dry mouth
  • Headache
  • Lightheadedness
  • Mood changes
  • Nausea and/or vomiting
  • Ringing in your ears
  • Upset stomach

In addition to pain blocking, opioids also increase dopamine levels, contributing to improved mood. This feeling is what encourages people to misuse their opioids. Drug misuse may include using your medication more frequently or in higher doses than prescribed, mixing it with other substances, or taking it in alternative ways than prescribed (such as crushing and snorting pills.)

In cases of M365 abuse, more extreme side effects may occur, including:

  • Feelings of euphoria
  • Increased empathy
  • Feelings of relaxation and contentment
  • Sedation and drowsiness

However, these happy feelings only last so long. As with other drugs, users can develop a tolerance to M365, requiring them to take higher doses to experience the same effects. This can give way to increased drug use, more frequent drug use, and the development of an addiction.

In the long run, M365 can lead to long-term side effects like:

  • Desire to be alone
  • Fatigue and exhaustion
  • Irritability and agitation
  • Lack of motivation
  • Mood swings
  • Nausea and vomiting

Signs of M365 Abuse

As a potent medication for pain relief, users may have a higher risk of misusing or abusing this medication. As an opioid, the signs of M365 use are similar to those of opioid abuse. If you suspect that someone is abusing M365 pills, here are some signs to look out for:

  • “Pinpoint pupils”
  • Itching and rashes
  • Flushed or warm skin
  • Dry mouth
  • Diarrhea
  • Upset stomach
  • Changes in social behavior
  • Sexual dysfunction in men
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Drowsiness
  • Lethargy
  • Slurred speech
  • Neglecting responsibilities at home, school, or work
  • White M365 pills or empty pill bottles

Withdrawal symptoms could also indicate a dependence or addiction to M365, such as:

  • Flu-like symptoms
  • Anxiety
  • Muscular aches and tension
  • Unexplained or unusual sweating
  • Difficulty sleeping
