RHOC’s Braunwyn Windham-Burke Celebrates One Year of Sobriety

Braunwyn Windham

You may remember back in October that Real Housewive’s star Braunwyn Windham-Burke announced she was an alcoholic.

Well, the 43-year-old Real Housewives of Orange County star took to Instagram to announce she celebrated 1 year sober this past weekend!

In her post, she thanked her husband Sean and wrote, “No one ever said it would be easy. Officially #1YearSober… as always, one day at a time”. Braunwyn Windham-Burke’s first year of sobriety is an amazing accomplishment. Braunwyn’s sobriety journey serves as motivation for those who are battling with addiction.

Sobriety is not an easy journey, but it is a journey that is worthwhile.  When Braunwyn received alcohol addiction treatment, she gave herself the chance to live a happy and healthy life in recovery. Braunwyn Windham-Burke now joins the list of celebrities who are now sober.

Alcohol addiction can be treated successful with medical care and support from a drug and alcohol treatment center.  Addiction is a difficult disease to overcome, especially in the public eye. We are glad that Braunwyn Windham-Burke celebrates one year of sobriety and is using her platform to spread awareness and encourage others.

At our drug and alcohol treatment center, we are here to help. If you or someone you know is suffering from this disease, please give us a call: 888-966-9413
