Patients in our Boston partial hospitalization program are able to receive effective care while maintaining a level of flexibility that allows them to meet any responsibilities outside of treatment. The program is an in-between, working to fill the gap between intensive hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient treatment. Patients in PHP are able to receive the treatment they need while still living at home or in a home-like setting. Generally, PHP treatment requires a minimum of 25 hours a week of participation from the patient.
