What is a Stabilization Program?

Relapse can happen, and it’s important to understand that there is hope and action one can take to get back on track. A relapse doesn’t mean that there is no potential to be successful in recovery. A stabilization program for addiction is a helpful option for those who have recently relapsed and require short-term treatment at a higher level of care than the one they are currently participating in. At Banyan Treatment Center in Pompano Beach, FL, we understand that the road to recovery can be bumpy at times and we are here to help you every step of the way.

Recovery after Relapse is Possible

In a stabilization program for addiction, clients complete a shorter program (typically 14 days) in a PHP setting, with a specific treatment plan focusing on relapse prevention. Clients learn how to handle challenging situations, as well as how to deal with cravings. After clinicians determine a successful completion, the individual will then return to their previous level of care or treatment program. Sometimes, stabilization is necessary in preventing future relapses. Banyan Treatment Center is proud to offer this service to other treatment facilities and providers who may not offer higher levels of care options.

A stabilization program works to help identify the underlying issues that contributed to a relapse. It is important to learn how to not be discouraged after a relapse and to focus on feelings of hope and assurance. If you fall, Banyan Treatment Center is there to help pick you back up and guide you on the right path. Call us today at 888-280-4763, we can help.
