Witnessing Change Directly

Watching someone overcome addiction can be incredibly moving.

This is one of the many reasons we care about our clients so much. We want to help everyone live a life worth living.

Because every client is an individual, we understand that treatment plans vary from person to person. To aid in this, we tailor treatment plans in order to help the client develop life skills they may not have learned due to their addiction.

Along with treating each client as an individual, we are completely judgement free. Many people don't recognize addiction as a problem that requires professional help to overcome. We understand that addiction can be the result of unaddressed mental health issues from a client's past, and together we take on the root of the problem.

At our treatment center, we use the Banyan tree as a symbol for community and collaboration. Banyan trees thrive for hundreds of years when they are amongst a group of other Banyan trees, but will not survive long if they are alone. We know that clients, without the help of others around them, won't be as successful with treating their addiction. So, as part of the addiction recovery process, we build a community for supporting one another. While clients have unique lives and different stories, they can find solace and understanding amongst others in recovery. This part of the process is important because by positively influencing others, clients can promote growth among each other and perhaps the entire group.

Imagine how you would feel if you went through an unimaginably difficult time of your life and you had no one there to help. Now imagine if you were amongst a group of caring individuals all striving for the same outcome you were. You would probably feel a little better about it. You would also experience happiness for those around you while they reach individual achievements in getting back to where they want to be. Maybe seeing someone change for the better would push you to work even harder.

If you suffer from a substance abuse addiction and are in need of a support system, or know someone who is, please contact one of our health professionals. Consider the life worth living that's out there waiting.
